Why your New Year’s Resolutions don’t work?

Chances are pretty good that over the course of your life you have tried making personal changes starting at the beginning of the year.  It might even be that you have tried making those same changes repeatedly over the course of many years.  You’ve had the best of intentions, worked yourself up for weeks and started your New Year’s Resolutions at the beginning of the year. For most people its start exercising, eat better, lose weight, quit smoking and stop procrastinating etc…. Then, usually about a week or two into the New Year (or a few hours if you’re trying to quit smoking), all of your resolution goes out the window and you fail. So you begin to think what’s the use?

Why New Year’s Resolutions don’t work is because you programmed yourself to fail!  Your subconscious mind is in charge of your habits and changes, and unless you change things on that level, you simply will fail (hypnosis). If your subconscious mind is conditioned for failure on January 1st, then the best thing to do is to start get reprogrammed for success with hypnosis before you start your New Year’s Resolutions!  Do it right now.  Do not wait. When you are not programmed for failure, it makes success much easier.

An important concept to think about is that for most of us, willpower will not work.  Where imagination and willpower are in conflict, imagination will always win.  In essence, most people use their imaginations to fail, when they could be using them to succeed!

Let’s say you set one of your New Year’s Resolutions to want to lose weight.  You have a favorite food that is a problem for you such as pizza (or whatever it may be). Using your best willpower you struggle against eating it all the while imagining how good it tastes in your mind.  You imagine the satisfying taste as you bite down on a slice and then the taste of heaven as you chew.  You imagine eating one slice after another, enjoying the melted cheese and toppings until your heart’s content.  In essence, you are convincing yourself to eat pizza! Hypnosis will help you so when you have a thought about a pizza, you can imagine yourself in exactly the right outfit, feeling wonderful about yourself, feeling healthy and alive, seeing what you would see, hearing what you would hear, and feeling all of the great feelings of being at exactly the right healthy weight for you. Choosing to eat healthier and drink more water instead of eating bad. You could imagine your friends, family members, and even strangers commenting on how good you look.  You could imagine yourself exercising and feeling fantastic about that.

You could get hypnotized for what you WANT instead of what you do not want.  And since your mind can not tell the difference between a real or vividly imagined event, and since success breeds success, the more you imagine yourself being successful at whatever change you want to make, the more success you will have.

Hypnosis the Power of the Mind

You can, you know, through the power of your own subconscious mind. All you have to do is re-program it. Where you are in life, right now, is the perfect place for you. Your subconscious mind has followed your plans and desires to a tee. Whether you are rich, or poor, extremely successful, or struggling, happy, or dissatisfied and miserable, THAT is where you directed your subconscious mind to take you.

Your subconscious has the power and knowledge of the universe, but it has no imagination, no direction of its own. It is like a magnificent ship capable of taking you anywhere in life’s ocean. It even has its own, built-in navigator, but YOU are the MASTER. You have to plot your course, and it will follow your every command. This is why hypnosis is so successful. Its your mind being guided to where or what you want.

You may take exception to the first paragraph, particularly if your life is among the more negative of the examples. There lies the point in question. The universe is in perfect balance, made up of “positive” and “negative” vibrations. If you seek, or even accept, the negative vibrations, that is what your subconscious projects, and what you, in turn, receive. Those who can only feel positive thoughts and project positive vibes, summon in powerful, positive strength to achieve anything. Just read any book on success or the mind and I promise you its talking about the power of the subconscious mind aka “hypnosis”.

Mind you, if you have suffered from “poor-meitus” for any length of time, or issued a great deal of negative vibes to yourself or others, this is hard to cure. The moment you try to put yourself on a “positive” course, you will find you have awakened a sleeping beast. Mr. Negative is a grasping, clinging monster who never wants to lose a slave. As you first begin feeling the results and rewards of a positive stance in all walks of your life, don’t be surprised, or alarmed, by a series of negative occurrences. Just hang in there and, if you laugh at each weak attempt to discourage you, you will find your positive vibrations will always win out. Through hypnosis it can be achieved much more quickly like immediate to within 72 hrs.

Everyone has a subconscious mind with the ability to do wonderful things for them. It is while developing in life, from childhood on, that so many negative messages can stunt its growth. From “don’t touch that, you’ll burn yourself,” “get back or you’ll fall,” “look out, don’t break that,” to “you won’t amount to much,” “you’ll never make it in that business,” “you want to be a what?” – it’s a wonder we ever make it to adulthood. Hypnosis comes from the Greek ‘ypnos’ which means sleep because of the highly relaxed state. However Hypnosis is not sleep because the subject stays alert, can talk and move, and the brain waves differ. Hypnosis has been defined in various ways by different people. The most popular traditional view of hypnosis is a very relaxed state or a type of tunnel vision.

Hypnosis is a natural state we all experience from time-to-time, for example when we daydream. When we daydream we are mentally focused on some internal event, and we have decreased awareness of the things around us. A good night’s sleep is said to be the best way to restore and rejuvenate your body and mind and when you cannot achieve it for long periods your life and health will suffer considerably. Many people live with insomnia or lack of natural sleep for different reasons.

Lets first look at what insomnia is. Insomnia is a sleep disorder, the most common causes of insomnia is stress at work or home, financial or marital and certain medical conditions. Insomnia symptoms are generally lack of sleep for long periods of time, interrupted sleep or not being able to fall back to sleep once your sleep has been interrupted.
